The work day went rather routine just like any other day except today was the Christmas lunch held by the client's facility department at a venue in Vancouver. We all had a salad to start. Mine was a mixed salad with escarole, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and dressing. Then came the main course, salmon on mixed rice with asparagus and snowpeas. Others had turkey, mashed potatoes and such, so there were options. Desert was fudge brownies in my case. I just had water but others had beer and other drinks, but since I was returning to work after the lunch, it wouldn't have been good form to return under the influence.
So, what has been happening your way as Christmas approaches? More news and photos to come as we get closer! By the way, the tree was outside the room where the lunch was being served and the snow was falling nicely the whole time. Merry Christmas!!!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! What with my family coming for Christmas, Jr.'s school party and of course work, it's been a little hectic. But I'm enjoying every minute of it... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Yes, it can get hectic but it doesn't have to be. I am taking it slow and easy but will be busy enough sorting through belongings through the holiday season in advance of a pick-up going to the auctioneer. In other words, I'm getting ready for the new year! Merry Christmas!
I agree - I sold two houses, bought and moved into a third. I barely have time for Xmas decorating even. Doesn't help much that the Mr is a scrooge... You lunch description makes me hungry. Sound yummy! :)
I should have added that the mixed rice was a combination of white and wild rice! My favourite is a mix of white, brown, red and wild rice!
Originally, I was to have four days off but now I have only three since I'm working boxing day from 8 am till 4 pm (Boxing Day isn't a statutory holiday in BC whereas it is in Ontario where I worked most of my life). This leaves less time for sorting and getting ready for the auctioneer.
