the promise of youth!

This evening while on my way home on the SkyTrain, a mother with a child in a stroller got on the train at one of the stops. The stroller was near the door and where I was seated. The boy was probably not much more than three years of age. He was very happy, self-confident and sure of himself. His mother must have found this amusing because at some points she was smiling. Children are so precious, they are our future and as yet unblemished by the trials and problems of adulthood. I've rarely seen a child interact with a complete stranger in this way. He should grow up to be quite the young man! It would be interesting to see the results!!! There's more to life than we could imagine! - V
