I took this photo in October 2008 on a walk along False Creek in Vancouver. I was nearing Granville Island at the time and saw a guy walking these Afghan Hounds. You just never know when you see something out of the ordinary, and this was the case. I'm re-posting this for my dog lovers. Enjoy the treat! - V

I agree it must be quite a sight to be approached by these gorgeous Afghans... but can you imagine the time it must take to groom them all? ;)

This image is actually a crop from a larger photo I took. I cropped that photo so that the focus was on the hounds.
I can just imagine the grooming necessary to keep these dogs looking in fine shape. - V
