Earthquake in Costa Rica Thursday

The results of Thursday's earthquake in Costa Rica as seen from the air. Note the collapsed buildings, landslides, vehicles crashes, cracks in roads and so on. The quake was centred 20 miles (32km) north-northwest of the capital, San Jose, and measured at 6.1 magnitude. The accounts of dead varies from 19 to 34 dead and dozens missing. The entire mountain chain that runs through Central America is volcanic and prone to earthquake activity. The same holds true for the entire coast along the western part of North America. One of my blog buddies, Alexsander, is currently still in Costa Rica. I hope everything is okay!
