Somehow I had overlooked these photos when posting yesterday. Here they are now. Enjoy! - V
Sunday the weather was just excellent. Here are some more photos from the pride parade. Enjoy, and feel free to comment or ask questions! - V

I managed to get into Vancouver to see this year's pride parade. Last year I didn't go as I've seen a number of them but it looks like this year's parade was less impressive. Perhaps the available money has a bearing on the outcome. Meantime, enjoy these photos! There'll be more to come as I edit what I have. - V
"Are you being served?" That's what he appears to being saying to us!
Somehow this gnome got into the parade as well. Any thoughts why? Meantime, more to come! - V
Sunday morning seems to be a good time to lounge, relax and unwind a bit. Its currently overcast at 15 degrees Celsius but sun is expected for the afternoon with warmer temperatures at 22 degrees. We'll see! The sunny weather will be appreciated by those watching the pride parade this afternoon in Vancouver's West End. It'll be the fifth one I've attended since arriving here in early 2006. Enjoy the parade, if you're going, and otherwise, enjoy the holiday weekend (BC Day on Monday here in British Columbia)! - V
Vancouver's pride parade was on Sunday starting at 12 noon (August 2nd), and despite the fact that I was still recovering from the hike up Hollyburn Mountain the previous day, I was able to make it in to the city to see most of the parade. I missed the first hour but I was able to take a few photos of the event for those that were not able to see it first-hand. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Enjoy!!! - V.
