More on the Whalley condo fire in Surrey yesterday

Quattro Condo fire: Here is a close-up shot of the condo fire in Whalley (Surrey) yesterday. The condos are located at 138th Street at 107th Avenue. Phase II was burnt to the ground but Phase I was mostly intact. The condominium project is worth $625 million with units running from $140,000 to $400,000 each. All is covered by insurance. It was noted that a fire was discovered in a bathroom in an unfinished unit in Phase II two or three days before and likely caused by homeless people. Whalley condo fire in Surrey yesterday

Phase !! at the Quattro Condos in Whalley caught fire yesterday afternoon. The fire was reported just before 4 pm and that second phase burned to the ground in about 45 minutes. The video above from petshopboy3 was found on YouTube. - Volker
