blogger friends

I'd like to welcome the recent additions to my blogger friends, one in Switzerland and the other in Italy. I now have 37 and they've been slowly growing over the years. The first and probably foremost is Mac over at The Yummy Blog. I started commenting on his blog even before I had any of my own. Then there's bribri and others. Check them out sometime, see what they follow and even check out their own blogs. We can learn and support each other. I'll introduce them all in the near future. Congradulations, MAC, and thank you!

Its time for bed but before I call it a night I must congradulate MAC on winning the Kreativ Blogger Award. At the same time, I must thank him for nominating the blog that I share with Brad, my co-author. Expect some more posts from him but since he currently lacks a computer, this is a challenge posting anything for the moment. Life is full of changes and mine and that of others is no different. abdominals and other muscle groups

What muscle group grabs your attention first? Is it the abdominals (abs) or the pectorals (pecs)? Or perhaps it's the maximus glutimus (butt) or some other muscle group? Well, to perk your interest and get you inspired, here are some fine examples of the first two groups: the abs and pecs.

Whether a guy's wearing open jeans, briefs or speedos turns you on, there's something for everyone's taste.

Ah, but this last one also grabbed my attention when I checked out Mac's blog a few days ago. I love the abs and pecs on this guy. I'm not much for tattoos but those tattoos along with the hair style and muscles appear to be working wonders together. I was immediately thinking of Bodhi, our Aussie blogger who just loves tattoos. Thanks, MAC, for posting this hottie! So which of the above is your favourite and inspires you to develop your muscles to the point of being equal or better than the musculature of the models in these photos??? - V.

cupcakes

As you might have guessed, this post is about cupcakes but not only that, it's dedicated to Mac over at YOTD (see Followers). Everytime I pass by this store at 1168 Denman Street in Vancouver I am reminded of Mac, one of my favourite fellow bloggers! The sign above is just outside the store, called Cupcakes, and entices people to enter inside to see what treats await. (Note: I took this photo this past Saturday, while the rest were taken on Sunday. Saturday had been the intended day for taking all of these photos but yummies of a different kind were crowded around the tables in front of the store. Perhaps in hindsight I should have taken them then. It might have made for a much more interesting series of photos!).

I love the owl motif in the shop's window. There are even a couple of small tables with chairs outside for customers to enjoy their treats over conversation. Below are a couple of view inside the store. There are six locations in the Vancouver area. The one on Denman Street is just one of them. This location is handy to English Bay Beach where one can take their favourites to watch the activity at the beach, take in the sun, and of course, enjoy the cupcakes! If you live in the area and you love cupcakes, check this one out. Try their samples if you've not had cupcakes before, and even if you have!!! Enjoy!!! - V.
