Hot abs...

Being fit and toned is the goal of those of us who would like to live healthy, fulfilling lives. The abs in the photo above belong to Brad. He's cut and has worked hard to attain his current level of fitness which didn't come over night. Anyway, at a height of 6'1" and a weight of around 170-175 pounds there can't be much fat to speak of. So, Brad's a bit taller than I am with my 5' 9 1/2" frame to his taller, more chisled look. This pic is somewhat out of date as it was taken some time ago but what I've seen of his current physique, it is even hotter than what you see here. When he does arrive, he'll be a subject of my photographic prowess but in the meantime, he's not here yet. Since he's more than somewhat overdue, having left about mid-September from the eastern Quebec, he should have arrived here on the west coast by now. Brad did say he would call me a couple of days before he arrives. In the past he has contacted me in one way or another if there was a delay or change of plans. I am concerned and who wouldn't, so I am preparing a missing persons report to file with the local police. The report will come complete with his full name, birth date, height, weight, the make of vehicle he is driving, including the license plate number, the planned route to be travelled and so on. Hopefully, Brad's just had a sudden change of plans and cannot contact me for one reason or another but I am also being realistic and prepared for the worst. Two of my contacts have more than suggested that this is a good idea (the report) as this would give me some peace of mind in knowing what is or has happened. Meantime, if he does arrive soon, the report would be unnecessary. I'll have more news on all this later. This will have to do for now. What are your thoughts??? - Volker

Blond hottie

I've always had a thing for guys with blond hair. Having great looks and awesome physiques is an added plus as is having a pleasant personality. I guess this is why Brad and I get along so well. On my way home Friday evening I saw a hottie that got on the SkyTrain at Metrotown and was still on the train when I got off at Braid. His hair was short but just a little bit longer than in the image above. He had diamond studded ears and a very pleasant face, angelic I would say, with a physique worth investigating. This young man has been seen before on the train and I hope this will not be the last, a construction dude carriying a white hard hat. Whether he's gay, str8 or bi, this makes no difference. He just looks great as do a few other hot guys I see daily. All this, of course, reminds me of Brad, so I do hope he arrives soon enough for Christmas to allow us to get on with what we have planned.

While speaking of Brad, who doesn't have natural blond hair by the way but brown hair a bit darker than mine, we both love Ethan, Ethan Reynolds that is. That's Ethan on the right in the top photo. I have a particular weakness for Ethan and so does my friend. Such a hot pic, don't you think? I found this photo posted on Deep Dish last week and then on Tres Fab Sweetie on Friday. Who can't love to see such a couple in these hot costumes? The well-toned, muscled physiques are an added plus that just make the pic even hotter. I love my own Brad in what ever colour he cares to wear his hair. He's lovable whatever the colour. Meantime, its a soggy, rainy night, so this should perk everyone up! a vole, a vole....

The return home from work today was uneventful. Nothing unusual in that but when I got to Braid station, I did encounter something out-of-the ordinary while waiting for the bus to take me on that short trip home. I saw a vole, also referred to as a meadow vole (Microtus pennsylvanicus), thought I'm not sure it was that or a montane vole (Microtus montanus) but this little rodent not much larger than my thumb, if that, was definitely a vole. The photo above, and taken from the net, shows a meadow vole (M. pennsylvanicus) and serves only for illustrative purposes. So, as I sat quietly at one end of a bench in a bus shelter just outside the SkyTrain station, the little critter scampered back and forth below the bench searching for morsels to eat. I observed the vole with greyish fur run along cracks in the cement pavement, stopping now and then to check things out, then continue along its way. A passing bus would release a short blast of air and the vole would scamper in hiding only to come out again when the noise had stopped. The vole even disappeared under some newspaper on the ground. The paper moved slightly as it worked its way through to the other end only to come into view again. At one point the animal was right below me and between my feet quietly nibbling on a small piece of paper without knowing that I was observing its every movement from above. It seemed like a few minutes of observing before the bus came along and all this came to an end. I don't think others near the bus stop or passing by even noticed the little visitor below. Oh well, I certainly enjoyed the event and am here to pass it on so you can appreciate this too! - Volker
