Canada's Thanksgiving Day!

In honour of the season here's a photo I took on the western end of Burnaby Mountain in October 2009 with the cherry trees in colour. This scene is of the walkway from the Horizon Restaurant. If time permits, I may go up there this weekend to check out any colour present, and I know there's some since I've seen it from the SkyTrain on my way to work over the past week. Take the time to see the sights and listen to the sounds of the season. Enjoy! By the way, its the Thanksgiving weekend but the actual statutory holiday is on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!!! - V

Beautiful! Over here, we're a little late. I figure the real colors will show up during the course of next week! Yet, it is indian summer this weekend.

We didn't have much of a summer here as far as warm temperatures are concerned. Those came rather late into the season. We're hoping for a better autumn. We had rain early to start off with but there are sunny days for sure. Today its mostly overcast with the sun peeking out now and then. There is no rain, not even at night, but that will come in time. Rain is one thing to be expected here during the autumn and winter seasons.

Enjoy your holiday weekend! - V
