the sky

Have you ever taken the time to appreciate the beauty that the sky offers us daily? In this case its the sky over English Bay in Vancouver, British Columbia during a recent summer (but not the one we just had). That's the landing to the ferry at Sunset Beach on the right. Take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life! Life is over too quickly to spend it asleep at the switch!! - V

I agree. There is one image from the same series of photos that I used as a background for a pad of paper that was printed up. The same motif was used on the back of a business card.

With this photo it was the cloud pattern that caught my interest. The scene looks northward from under the Burrard Street bridge to Sunset Beach and the Coast Mountains in the background. - V

Oh! I do take the time to contemplate the sky. In fact, there is a great poète québécois who wrote one day that if he had to do one important thing in his life, it would be to just lie down in a field and watch the clouds changing shape.

Jon, I used to do just that in my childhood and still do when the mood strikes. Its fascinating what we can see in the natural world if we would only take the time to do so. - V

I wonder how many actually take the time to look up, to see the wonders that are always there if we take the time? - V
