Back in central Canada in southwestern Ontario, autumn meant football when I went to high school. Football anyone? Thanks for the image, Jiel! It brought back some fond memories but I'd have loved to witness someone like Spencer first-hand! - V
It's my pleasure to send you any photos you might need for your inspiring site..
By the way, I've been to BC many years ago and I must say that I ADORED it... I loved to visit the MOA in Vancouver and the Bouchard's Gardens north of Victoria... As an Art teacher, I had to teach Native Art to my sec,3 students. I also lived 9years in Sept-Îles with Montagnais natives in my classes.
If the mood strike, send along what might suit this blog. There is so much beauty everywhere. We just have to open our eyes to see it.
I have yet to visit Vancouver Island but I do hope it will be in the not too distant future!
I had planned to attend teacher's college after university studies. That was in the 1980s but I ended dropping out because I couldn't afford to go to school and study plus pay the rent. I worked evenings and nights but the university would only allow me to study in the evening. So the two were in conflict;
Oh well, such is life. But I teach in other ways as you can see.
I have been to Montreal twice in my lifetime, in fact we landed in Montreal when our family came over from Germany in 1957.
The second visit was while on the way to Quebec City to see the Winter Carnival. That was 1973.
When I was in grade 9, I knew someone that was on the football team. I thought he was hot. I often watched the team play. He also delivered the newspaper where I lived. In fact, so did two of his brothers. They lived a few blocks away from where I did. A friend of his lived down the street and around the corner from me. Sometimes they'd drop by where I was having lunch or studying between classes.
I'll look for your reply on FB. Have an awesome weekend! - V
